On August 29th, 2009, DIC and First Presbyterian Church of Dallas organized a Ramadan Iftar dinner. Program held in Bryd Hall of the First Presbyterian Church of Dallas and around 180 people attended this wonderful dinner.
The Iftar Dinner started with Azan by Bilal Sabit and continued with the speech of the Pastor Joe Clifford. Pastor Clifford talked about the Christian feast and its meaning within the Presbyterian tradition of Christianity. Then, Imam Nihat Yesil introduced the activities of DIC and talked about the importance of Ramadan and benefits of the fasting to us and to the community. The program ended with a video for the historical and religious treasures of Türkiye.
