Dallas Islamic Center and Lilijian Bosnian Foundation organized a joint program to commemorate the martyrs of Bosnian War. Many Turkish and Bosnian people attended the event. The foods prepared by Bosnian ladies are served to the guests. Imam Nihat Yesil recited several verses from Quran then Bilal Sabit recited mawlid for the martyrs. In the program, a group from Lilijian Foundation and DIC sunday school kids also recited several surahs from Quran and read some religious poems to the audience. The program ended with the prayer of Mr. Elyesa Jasar. In this final speech of the program, he also mentioned about the importance of the collaboration and alliance between the people of both centers and he thanked to the Dallas Islamic Center for their contributions.
