The Dallas Islamic Center hosted Rev. Dr. Daniel Chesney Kanter, Senior Minister at The First Unitarian Church of Dallas, on December 11th, 2009. Dr. Daniel C. Kanter`s talk is titled: “Arius, Unitarianism, and Islam.” Rev. Kanter gave his talk after dinner, and program continued with the question & answer session Program held in Dallas Islamic Center and more then 50 people from different faiths and cultures gathered together at Abraham`s Table.

Dr. Daniel Chesney Kanter received a B. A. in psychology and anthropology from the University of Vermont in 1989, a Master of Divinity from Starr King School for the Ministry in 1998, and a Doctor of Ministry from Perkins School of Theology/SMU. He is a member of the Board of Trustees at Starr King and was called to serve as Minister at The First Unitarian Church of Dallas in 2003 and as Senior Minister in 2009. He has lived abroad and traveled in China, India, Israel, and Europe.
