The Dallas Islamic Center sponsored the lunch for homeless people on April 25th, 2010, Sunday at Stewpot The Second Chance Cafe. The DIC volunteers served the meal and water to everyone who had come to the Stewpot for lunch. It was such a humbling experience for the DIC volunteers to get together with rich, poor, black, and white that they decided to participate again in such organizations in the future.
