He is presently the recipient of a Rabbis Without Borders fellowship, sponsored by the National Jewish Center for Learning and Leadership.Rabbi Schlesinger divides his time between Dallas and Israel. He and his Israeli – born wife Ayala have four grown children and three grandchildren, all of whom reside in Israel.  This is his rookie year teaching at UNT.

Abraham`s Table: Since Abraham -peace be upon him- is the father of three major religions, he should be the ultimate symbol of closeness and dialogue between their faithful. Abraham had a good habit of not starting to eat if he didn’t have any guests at his table. This inspired us to organize Abraham’s Table programs once a month. In these programs, we get together regardless of our faiths, share a warm meal and an even warmer conversation. Would you like to be His guests?

RSVP is required. Please RSVP to info@dallasislamiccenter.org.

Babysitting will be available, RSVP is appreciated.

There is no charge for this event. The meal will be kosher, catered by Natalie’s Kitchen.

    Please come and join us.
