Ramadan Eid has been celebrated at Dallas Islamic Center. Eid program started with the recitation of Quran and continued with the Eid Prayer. Hundreds of people gathered together for Eid prayer to rejoice the bounty of Allah. Dallas Islamic Center also provided breakfast to brothers and sisters, and children enjoyed the Eid in the playing area and with gifts provided by DIC.
During month of Ramadan, Muslims fulfilled the fasting and experienced blessings that no one else could feel. Unfortunatelly, the month of Holy Quran and fasting is over but Allah says in the Holy Quran: O humankind! There has come to you an instruction from your Lord, and a cure for what (of sickness or doubt) is in the breasts, and guidance and mercy for the believers. Say: “In the grace and bounty of God and in His mercy – in this, then, let them rejoice. That is better than what they amass (of worldly goods and riches). ” (Yunus 10:57-58)
